ACADEMICS

  • Courses are offered Monday – Thursday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Please see our course schedule for the exact days and times of specific classes. We also offer private lessons and clubs on Friday.

  • Most classes meet on campus just one day per week. Each class is approximately 1-2 hours per session with the program year running for 30 weeks.

  • Quest is an enrichment center designed to support and enrich education chosen by parents. We believe parents know their children far better than anyone else and thus are the primary drivers of education. Our university-style enrichment program allows students to spend more time one-on-one with their families. Our commitment to smaller class sizes with engaging content requires less time than traditional education which in turn means families can spend time together.

  • Some classes require weekly attendance while others are drop in. Many classes do require homework and preparation. We expect our families to maintain a high level of commitment in order for us to be able to offer the best possible educational options in Southern AZ. Please check with the instructor to be clear about what each course requires. You will have 2 weeks to try out a class to be sure it is a good fit, but once that time has passed, you need to be fully committed for the entire program year to avoid a drop fee.

  • We understand things happen, children get sick, relatives are visiting, or life just gets in the way. For maximum learning, Quest allows students to have two (2) missed absences per course. However, if you have a circumstance that will require missing more than the two sessions, please contact us! We are flexible with our students and parents. You can email at office@questforeducationandarts.com or call at 520.818.8064.

  • You are welcome to speak with our student & family life coordinator. We will guide you through the classes and help you discover the best options. You can schedule an Academic Advising appointment right here on the website at https://www.questforeducationandarts.com/contact or contact us by email at office@questforeducationandarts.com.

  • Parent-directed education happens when a parent chooses to take an active role in deciding the best course for their child’s education. Parents love their children more than anyone else and are the best equipped to be the leaders in their children’s education. Parent-directed education applies to public, private, home education, and unschooling styles.

  • Parents are expected to keep up with their child’s progress through our Schoology platform. We recommend the parent check in weekly to maintain consistency. In addition, speaking with your child’s instructor regularly can help parents understand the requirements of the class. Feel free to message the instructors through Schoology as well. Parents are always welcome to attend classes with students.

  • New families must take a tour before being able to register. Visit our registration page and our online registration platform, iClass, to complete your registration. Preview the class catalog for more information on ages and prerequisites as well as the teacher and books required.

  • Most courses require students to complete weekly homework. Any assignments outside of class can be accessed through our Schoology student portal.

  • Outside commitments and assignments vary by instructor. There could be daily or weekly homework, attendance or participation in special events, field trips, or other commitments the instructor determines that will benefit the course. Please speak with your instructors about the expectations.

  • It is the parent’s responsibility to hold their student accountable and monitor progress through the Schoology student portal. Final points letters will be provided to parents by the end of the program year. Quest is here to help you with your student’s education by supporting and advising your journey.

  • The Schoology Student Portal is an online platform where students can receive assignments, projects, points, updates, and other information. This online platform allows instructors to communicate with students outside of regular class sessions should they need help or guidance. The portal can be accessed by students, parents, and instructors. Parents can monitor student progress through this online platform giving additional guidance and direction to their children.

  • Quest is not a school, therefore we cannot provide graduation diplomas. If a student elects to participate in the graduation ceremony provided by Quest, the parents of the student must provide the diploma.
